Taylor Swift mega fans have floated the idea of wearing adult diapers to her shows in Melbourne to avoid missing songs while queuing for the toilet.
The extreme measure was posed in a fan forum this week and sparked a robust debate not only about absorbent underwear, but also about which song or songs could be sacrificed for a dash to the dunny when nature called.
Interestingly, Shake It Off was posed by some as the perfect “toilet break” song while others said they were happy to miss songs from the Evermore and Folklore eras to queue for the MCG loos.
“A bit of a silly question, Going to Melbourne N1. Is anyone considering waring an adult diaper? I just REALLY don’t want to miss a second of it,” an anonymous member posted in one forum.
Responses ranged from praising the unique idea to a reminder to be sensitive to people dealing with incontinence issues, to suggestions of drinking little through out the show or simply just going the bathroom prior to Swift taking the stage.
A few questioned just how serious the question was.
Swift’s Eras Tour is a marathon show. It runs for nearly three and a half hours and incorporates 44 songs drawn from the expanse of her wildly successful career.
She has sold out three MCG shows on February 16, 17 and 18.
One thing is for sure, the Swifties are not leaving anything to chance when it comes to getting every moment of enjoyment out of their idol’s Melbourne shows.
