Sporty Spice Melanie C helped give the Melbourne Grand Prix a massive send off in style.
Stars including Bec Judd, Curtis Stone and Pip Edwards were among the glam crowd who descending on Marmont at Crown Melbourne for the exclusive Tequila Don Julio 1942 after-race celebration on Sunday night.
After a day at the track Mel C hit the DJ decks along with music producer and Marmont owner Grant Smillie, as the venue transformed into a premium after dark destination.
The former Spice Girl told the Herald Sun she was excited for another chance to perform in Melbourne.
“This city brings such great energy, and as an entertainer, it’s an incredible experience to be a part of that,” she said.
“I’m thrilled to have joined Don Julio 1942 at Crown Marmont and round out such a huge weekend of sport and entertainment in Melbourne. This is what it’s all about.”
Other high-profile guests included Josh Heuston, Baker Boy, Illy, Anna Paul, Lana Wilkinson, Bec Judd, Jessie and Marc Murphy, Sam and Snezana Wood, Khanh Ong, Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra, Moana Hope, Curtis Stone, Joey Scandizzo, Chris Kontos, Brooke and Myles Pitt and Anna Robards.
Homegrown Melbourne DJ Set, Cut Copy also performed.
Across town at the QT Melbourne rooftop, Glenfiddich, official partners of Aston Martin Formula One Team, also revved up with a post-race-day party.
The afterparty, Club 1959, kicked off straight after the main race.
Special guests included Australian model Montana Cox, Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell, as well as Amy Pejkovic and Taylor Reid.
Local Melbourne DJ Emily Gurr also headlined.
Also in the city Bar Bambi hosted its annual drivers wrap party presented by Chivas Regal with a packed crowd.
