New derogatory comments about women by Marty Sheargold have come to light including where he questioned why no one talks “about the size of ladies’ vaginas” and said endometriosis was “made up”.
The latest controversial comments from Sheargold were highlighted as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese joined the chorus of condemnation surrounding the Triple M radio host’s tirade against the Matildas.
Triple M parted ways with the veteran broadcaster on Wednesday after he tarnished women’s sport and the Matildas during a segment where he said he would “rather hammer a nail” through his penis than watch the Asian Cup.
It has now emerged that Sheargold made derogatory comments about the size of women’s genitalia and talked about sexual acts on the same show on Monday.
“No one talks about the size of ladies’ vaginas do they,’’ Sheargold said.
“They go, oh geez, he had a big cock but no one ever goes ooh mate, Jesus Christ, you had a big muff.”
Sheargold has also come under fire for saying endometriosis — a condition that impacts around one million women — was “made up”.
“Im going to say it — it’s controversial,” he said.
“(Endometriosis) It’s made up.”
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese branded Sheargold’s comments on the Matildas as “completely unacceptable” and “offensive”.
“They were just shocking comments that anyone could think it, let alone say it,’’ Albanese said on Nova’s Jase and Lauren on Thursday.
“Completely unacceptable. The Tillies are just legends. They excited and brought together the whole country. The whole country was united in cheering for them. Women’s and girls sport has been a revolution in my lifetime, in football, as in soccer football.
“AFLW has a Governor-General, Sam Mostyn was the first woman appointed as an AFL Commissioner, and she really drove the creation of AFLW, that’s fantastic. Rugby League in Vegas, in a couple of days time, there’ll be a women’s game there, it’s fantastic.”
Okâ¦. Let me get this straightâ¦. Now a radio host is being held to a higher standard of behaviour than the captain of one of our national sports teams? Ok makes sense ð https://t.co/adzxH7pnw3

Mr Albanese said Sheargold’s comments on endometriosis were also appalling.
“He also made some comments as well about endo not being real — you know, we need to respect each other, and disrespecting more than half the population is not on,’’ he said.
Collingwood captain Darcy Moore also weighed in.
“Female athletes deserve much better than this toxic garbage,’’ he wrote on social media.
Sheargold did win some support however, with Sydney broadcaster Ben Fordham saying Sheargold doesn’t really believe what he says.
“He knows that the joke didn’t land, he knows that many people viewed it as him punching down, but look, there’s something that you need to know about Marty Sheargold’s style of comedy, and I know this because I’ve listened to his podcasts for a long time: he says things all the time that he does not mean,” Fordham said on his 2GB program.
“That’s not me defending him, he knows that he’s made a mistake, he’s acknowledged it, he did the wrong thing.”
Former North Melbourne star Corey McKernan wondered how Sheargold copped a harsher punishment than Matildas captain Samantha Kerr who was on trial and cleared of racially harassing a police officer in the UK.
“Ok... let me get this straight... now a radio host is being held to a higher standard of behaviour than the captain of one of our national sports teams? Ok makes sense,’’ McKernan posted on X.
