Sam Pang was responsible for a hilariously awkward moment on Have You Been Paying Attention with Bachelor couple Jimmy and Holly.

Sam Pang was responsible for a hilariously awkward moment on Have You Been Paying Attention last night.

The moment occurred during a segment with Bachelor couple Jimmy and Holly who were invited onto the Channel 10 show to ask the panellists some quiz questions about the reality show which wrapped up last week.

Pang kicked off the segment by joking to the couple that he gave their relationship “three weeks tops” before they called it off.

Bachelor couple Jimmy and Holly appeared on HYBPA last night.

But things got even more awkward when he confused Holly for the Bachelor runner-up, Brooke.

It happened after Holly asked the panellists a question about one of the Bachelor bombshells that happened in the final week of the reality show.

“[Bachelor contestant] Jay revealed to Jimmy she’d dated which New Zealand celebrity?” Holly asked.

Ed Kavalee buzzed in and correctly answered, “It was former New Zealand Bachelor, Moses.”

But the answer left Pang confused.

“Who dated him?” the Nova radio host asked.

Jay made it to the final three before being dumped.

Kavalee tried to explain to Pang that Jay, one of this year’s female contestants, was previously in a relationship with a man called Moses who went on to become the Bachelor in New Zealand.

“And then when Jimmy found out about it he was like, ‘Get out of her, moll!’” Kavalee joked.

But Pang couldn’t quite get his head around it.

“What’s that question got to do with Jimmy and Brooke?” he asked as he pointed at the screen featuring Jimmy and Holly.

The other panellists all yelled at Pang that her name was Holly, but the comedian was lost in a world of confusion.

Holly and Jimmy found Sam’s confusion rather amusing.

“Who?” Pang asked. “Hold on, who’s that? … What’s Jay got to do with … these two?’

With the panellists and Jimmy and Holly in hysterics, host Tom Gleisner did his best to move on from the embarrassing slip-up and even snuck in a sneaky joke.

“Please, show some respect,” Gleisner said to Pang. He then turned to Jimmy and said, “Now, Honey Badger, I mean, sorry, Jimmy.”

Viewers took to social media to rave about the awkward segment.
