Jordan Ablett has shared a rare glimpse into her family life, capturing a touching moment between two of her young children.
The image, posted to Instagram on Tuesday night, shows her two-year-old daughter Grace kissing her eldest son Levi, 5, on the head.
A wall of framed photos can be seen above the kids, including photos of Ablett and husband, Geelong champion Gary, with their children at the beach.
Record-breaking former Cats captain and close friend of the Ablett family, Joel Selwood, commented “beautiful” on the post.
The couple welcomed their third child Ezra in July last year.
In 2020 Levi was diagnosed with a degenerative illness which affects his respiratory system and it’s unlikely he’ll learn to talk.
Jordan recently told the Herald Sun that Levi was thriving at home and had developed a special bond with his little sister and baby brother.
“Grace is now nearly two-and-a-half and they’ve got a super cute connection and even having Ez who is seven-months now, it’s nice to surround Levi with children,’’ Jordan previously said.
“Hearing what other families have said, their childhood is kind of taken from them a bit so when Levi is around children he really does light up.
“Everyone keeps asking how he’s doing and he’s pretty much the same to be honest.
“I feel like we sound a bit repetitive but he’s getting older and he’s growing which means there are more challenges that are arising but we’re managing.”
She said Levi wouldn’t go to school as his care is best at home on the Surf Coast.
