Royal Wedding: Did this bishop just steal the wedding spotlight?

ROYAL wedding preacher Michael Curry is being wooed to come Down Under.

The tour name? You guessed it, “The Power of Love”.

Celebrity spinner Max Markson is heading to New York to close the deal.

WHO IS ROYAL PREACHER MICHAEL CURRY?

TIM COSTELLO: WE SHOULD NOT CRITICISE CURRY’S MESSAGE OF LOVE

Never short of ideas, Markson, is thinking of booking local gospel choirs for what he hopes will be a national tour.

All you need is love!

STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES

LAST week Page 13 wrote about a Collingwood player who was uploading videos of himself taking part in some ferocious solo handball drills.

The videos were apparently sent to a subscriber-based online site, which the public can pay to view. From what we hear, the one-eyed pie-boggling imagery had several loyal viewers.

But a Pies official unleashed this week, claiming the player was himself a victim of revenge porn.

The official took umbrage at suggestions the player’s conduct was stupid.

Sorry, but last time we checked, posting a hands-on explicit video of yourself on to the internet, subscriber-based or not, was the very definition of stupid.

WARNE BOOK ON ITS WAY AFTER ALL

TWO years ago, Page 13 revealed Shane Warne had a second autobiography in the pipeline.

The no-holds-barred book would cut through the spin, documenting the years that had passed since the release of My Autobiography: Shane Warne.

The following day, a tweet from the spin king gave us a whack for what US President Donald Trump calls “fake news”.

It was more than puzzling because it came from a face-to-face interview with Warnie that week.

Now, Warnie tells us, his second autobiography, No Spin, will hit the shelves in October and would be a “brutally honest account”. #covfefe

KENNEDY WEDDING’S FIT FOR A KING

MELBOURNE’s Kennedy family are completing final fittings for nuptials to rival Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kanye West at Florence’s Forte de Belvedere.

Jewellery maestro James Kennedy and fiancee Jamiee Bell’s pre-wedding brunch during their three-day lavish celebrations will be at the 16th century fortress that played host to Kim and Kanye.

The fortress was built by Fernando I di Medici and was where Galileo gazed at the heavens. The Italian wedding next weekend is actually the Melbourne power couple’s Plan B.

They were left in the lurch when their caterer and creative team pulled the pin on their Melbourne wedding at Crown late last year.

Step in Peter Ro wland, who has helped create a more magical and intimate destination wedding.

Rowland hit hard times when his hospitality empire went into administration last year and despite going through a personal tragedy, he will be in Italy when the wedding week begins on Thursday with chef Adam D’sylva and power player Dr Chantel Thornton understood to be among the guests.

The intriguing couple made their mark last year hosting luxury jewellery brand Kennedy in Flemington’s exclusive Birdcage for the first of a five-year deal.

It’s understood Bell fast became an anchor for the CEO, who took over the family business in 2009 after the death of his father Louis.

Bell is focused on the creative arm and charity work.
