Page 13: Melbourne’s golfing community takes another swing at Daniel Andrews

It turns out Dan Andrews might be making appearances at some of Melbourne’s most prestigious golf courses after all, just not in the way he’d hoped.

Last week we told you about Dan Andrews’ short lived tenure at Moonah Links Golf Club.

His membership at the prestigious Mornington Peninsula course only lasted a few weeks after member backlash about having the former premier on their fairways.

Now even the toffs of Toorak are teeing off.

Men’s gift shop, Traffic, in the heart of Toorak Village, has continued on with the whack-at-Dan theme in their shop front window.

They are selling three packs of golf balls with a cartoon image of Dan’s head – his trademark prominent ears in full force – right in the sweet spot dubbing them “Dan’s balls”.

“You just know you would love to take a swing at Dan’s Balls” the window front said.

Something tells us, they are going to sell out quick.
