Ash Williams was quick to knock back producers from a popular wedding reality show claiming true love, only to be dumped a day before his jungle jaunt.

Ash Williams turned down a reality wedding to pursue his relationship with Shane Warne’s ex, Emily Scott, and ended up in the jungle instead.

Ash Williams was never meant to be in the jungle for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Rather, the self-styled Adonis should be appearing on Married At First Sight.

Producers from Nine’s reality dating show were panting at the comedian’s door last year, asking him to join the series.

Only problem? Williams was already dating former swimsuit model Emily Scott.

Williams has never made any secret of his love for the ladies.

He has partnered plenty of high profile names in the past including none other than “Stifler’s mom” from American Pie.

It wasn’t a “Mrs Robinson” moment. Blonde and buxom Jennifer Coolidge and Williams dated while he was living in the US.

Williams has also dated homegrown actor Kate Lister of Bad Mothers and a string of other actresses and models.

Nine pleaded, but Williams insisted his relationship with Scott was the real deal.

The network told him to call back when he and Scott broke up. After all, the show needs single guys.

Williams was looking to move in with Scott following a six month relationship when they connected online.

The world of reality TV is a rather incestuous cesspool.

Readers may recall DJ and former Playboy model Scott was formerly in a relationship with none other than homegrown spin king Shane Warne.

Warne also appeared on the Network Ten series, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, reportedly charging a $1 million fee while fagging on ciggies when the cameras weren’t watching.

Scott also had a stint on I’m A Celebrity UK in 2011 where she spent hours in a bikini by the pond wearing pink hair before later appearing in Dancing With The Stars.

Keeping Up?

A day out from entering the Blue Mountains for the pre-recorded series (COVID meant South Africa was off the table) Scott broke up with him.

Williams told Ten’s producers he was nursing a broken heart.

“What? You’re meant to be our funny guy”, was the response from a producer.

“You’re now our funny guy and our single guy,” another said.

Reality TV is unreal.
