EVERYTHING’S far from all right between Kate Ceberano and Ralph Carr, with speculation the musician may part ways with her long-term manager.
The much-loved Melbourne songstress is one of the celebrity manager’s longest and most loyal clients.
Ceberano’s contract with Carr’s management company, RCM, is up for renewal in the coming weeks. It is understood the contract will not be extended as it currently stands, with talks under way before any official announcement.

The Bedroom Eyes singer’s tour and financial manager, Ben Balfour, says the status of the relationship status between Carr and Ceberano is currently a “work in progress”.
“We are currently working on the restructure of Kate’s management at the moment,” Balfour told Page 13.
Respected industry figure Lisa Palermo looks set to join Ceberano’s team.
Palermo, whose stable already includes Vika and Linda Bull, told Page 13 “Kate is restructuring her management” and she is “having discussions”.
Ceberano has had numerous hits over an extensive career under Ralph Carr Management.
Before that she worked with manager Glenn Wheatley.
“Doing what she loves most, making beautiful music, Kate has released 19 albums over her 35 years of success in the music industry,” reads RCM’s website.
Ceberano may not be the only one taking time to think about her relationship with manager Carr.
Page 13 hears high-profile client Dustin Martin’s support base is also having misgivings. A current legal battle over claims of unpaid bills with Carr’s company RCM Touring and Big Deal Touring, which includes allegations of an $11,000 debt over the Brownlow medallist’s tell-all show last December has done nothing to ease concerns.
Carr also manages TV presenter Richard Wilkins, young crooner Mark Vincent and reality show winner Bonnie Anderson, who has now joined Neighbours to help her music career.
Carr has a reputation for being a tough negotiator in the music industry. His former clients include singer and ex-wife Tina Arena, rocker Jon Stevens, magician Cosentino and Absolutely Everybody chart-topper Vanessa Amorosi.
