Geoffrey Edelsten has hit back at his ex, Brynne Edelsten, who has claimed the couple never consummated their marriage.
The medical entrepreneur was very upset by the revelations from Edelsten which are revealed in a Stellar magazine interview in this week’s Sunday Herald Sun.
“It’s untrue, we did consummate,’’ he said.
“She knows saying that will get publicity.
He said their marriage disintegrated because of things he found had been hidden from him. “That has been rarely spoken of.
“I couldn’t believe she’d hidden (those things) from me.”
Edelsten, 76, said he also uncovered other issues with his then wife, 40 years his junior.
Geoffrey said Brynne’s comments were “nasty” and “desperate.”
The couple split in 2014. However, Brynne said the marriage was never about money.
“Money is nice,” she admitted. “Nobody is going to turn money down. But it was never about that. Believe it or not, Geoff can be very, very nice.”
Now single, Brynne also revealed she is eyeing off another opening in the spotlight — as the next Bachelorette.
