As G&T time tinkles in Toorak, the story that just keeps doing the rounds among the sockless and stylish is one that deserves a, er, clap.

Chitter-chatter during the coke-tail hour (sorry Freudian slip) from St Georges to Mathoura Rd is all about a scion of one of Melbourne’s established families and the fallout after one helluva boys’ trip.

An unwanted visitor had come back with her husband who confessed all after a less-than-pleasant confrontation.

Someone close to the action said the accused went to water and started spilling, claiming his mates had “called in the hookers and roped him in”.
