“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love,” the quote by Anderson reads.

“It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot.”

“All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat and in that hollow part of your chest.”

“Grief is just love with no place to go.”

Hundreds of people showed their support of Chloe’s comments, sharing words of love and understanding.

“I’m so sorry, Chloe, sending love and blessings to you and your family,” one comment read.

“Australia mourns with you, and your entire family, Chloe,” said another.

Well known names also appeared, expressing their grief and offering words of encouragement to the daughter of “Australia’s golden girl”.

“I love you!” musician Lana Blac said.

“Sending so much love.”

Journalist Leeza Gibbons said the quote was perfect.

“Thinking of you and your grieving process, sweet girl,” she said.

Chloe and her mother were incredibly close, having battled through both Lattanzi’s drug addiction and Newton-John’s cancer diagnosis.

John Easterling, Newton-John’s husband, revealed the star had sadly passed in another Instagram post.

“Even now as her soul soars, the pain and holes in my heart are healed with the joy of her love and the light that shines forward,” he wrote.

“Our family deeply appreciates the vast ocean of love and support that has come our way.”

In an interview before her death, Newton-John revealed where her desired final resting place would be.

With the ashes of Olivia’s late mother and sister having been scattered in Byron Bay, the singer had previously said she would like for some of her ashes to join them, with others placed in California and “other places” she’d loved.

“I don’t think I’ve really thought about it that deeply; we all should,” Olivia had said.

“But I’d like to be with them, I’d like to be with them … that would be nice.”

The “Grease” star’s family revealed they have accepted Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ offer for a state funeral, to allow not only those related to Newton-John to mourn, but her many fans to say goodbye.

Mr Andrews revealed he had spoken with Newton-John’s niece to plan the funeral.

“I can update that I’ve spoken with Tottie Goldsmith this morning and she, on behalf of the family, have accepted my offer of a state service,” he said.

“This will be much more of a concert than a funeral; I think it will be a celebration of such a rich and generous life.”

Ms Goldsmith said the family had accepted the Premier’s offer not only for themselves, but for Australia.

“I think our country needs it, so we’re going to accept it,” she said.
