A WOMAN who tortured neighbours by blasting out Ed Sheeran hits has been jailed.
Sonia Bryce, 36, played the superstar singer’s songs at full volume on a loop late at night.
Bryce had already been jailed for six weeks for breaching a noise injunction 10 times.
But she deafened Clare and Jonathan Tidmarsh and their five kids next door with Sheeran tunes after her release.
Songs played repeatedly included the chart-storming superstar’s ballad, The Shape of You.
She was jailed for eight more weeks for the latest breach and faces eviction.
The family had to move out for a while to escape the din in Willenhall, West Mids.
Nursery nurse Clare, 36, said: “I used to like Ed Sheeran but I’ve taken him off my playlist. It drove us crazy.”
DOPPELGANGER: Fans stunned by Ed Sheeran lookalike
Jobless Bryce denied the allegation at Walsall county court, saying: “I don’t even like Ed Sheeran.”
A judge rejected her claim.
Sentencing Bryce to eight weeks in prison, Judge Philip Gregory said “You have displayed nothing but violent animosity towards your neighbour.
“I am quite convinced that you do not care tuppence about the effect that your behaviour has upon perfectly decent and respectable people next door.”
“Everyone is entitled to live in a degree of peace and quiet with the usual give and take of society.
“But you do not behave like a civilised person and you have got to learn that you will.”
