Beyonce might not be happy after hearing the absolutely savage interview her mother just gave about her.
The infamous Tina Knowles appeared on The Sherri Shepherd Show to talk about her daughter’s Renaissance Tour, and gave fans some insight into the superstar’s personal life.
Knowles, 69, confessed that her daughter can get “really mean” backstage while she’s mid-performance, and went as far as to label her a “b*tch”.
“We laughed about this recently because I was saying, ‘Girl, you get really mean back there,’” said Knowles, who used to help out behind the scenes. “And I am really happy that I don’t have to be back there anymore because I used to do the quick change.”
Knowles went on to share that she would often tease Beyonce, who is known for being fiercely private about her personal life, for being a “b*tch”.
She admitted that Queen B would often end up “in tears” over her own behaviour toward those around her.
She continued: “We laugh because she used to do Flaws and All, and she would say, ‘I’m a b*tch in the morning.’ And I’d be like, ‘And the evening too.’ … After we get off, she say, ‘Mama, I’m so sorry.’ And I’m like, ‘I know.’ And sometimes she’d be crying. And I was like, ‘She’s crying ‘cause she know she just said some crazy stuff to us.’”
Knowles went on to insist that Queen B only acts such a way because she’s fiercely protective of her show.
She added: “But that’s the heat of the moment. Because you trying to get your shoes on and everybody’s waiting. If someone’s messing up or they lose the shoes, you messed up the whole show.”
Meanwhile, Beyonce left her fans heartbroken this year after failing to announce Australian tour dates.
The megastar last performed in Australia as part of The Mrs. Carter World Tour in October and November 2013, with the tour making a stop at every Australian capital city except Darwin and Hobart.
While dates have sadly yet to be announced for her latest tour, fans will get to see the show on the big screen with the Renaissance World Tour concert film on December 1.
