HERE’S a big question for you to ponder: Have the tiny shorts Margot Robbie wears in Suicide Squad been photoshopped?

Apparently rumours have been going around that the red and blue hotpants the Aussie star wears as Harley Quinn in the flick were Photoshopped for the trailer in different countries to make them look different lengths.

The 26-year-old was asked about it during an interview on Smallzy’s Surgery.

“I didn’t know about that … having been there on the day, they were very small — but wow, I wonder if they did?” she replied. “That would be extensive Photoshopping to do.”

It seems some laser focused fans over at Comicbook.com noticed Robbie’s behind was more “on display” in the latest trailer of the film which dropped at San Diego’s Comic-Con last week.

The website notes a particular scene where Harley Quinn walks by her fellow squad members. In previously released trailers, the website claims the tiny hotpants were digitally altered to provide full butt coverage. But it the latest trailer, they say there’s some serious exposed cheek action happening.

And it seems they’re correct.

They even made a video of it.

In a recent profile for the New York Times, Robbie justified her character’s skimpy wardrobe, saying Harley is “wearing hot pants because they’re sparkly and fun,” not because “she wanted guys to look at her ass.”

“As Margot, no, I don’t like wearing that. I’m eating burgers at lunchtime, and then you go do a scene where you’re hosed down and soaking wet in a white T-shirt, it’s so clingy and you’re self-conscious about it,” she added.

It’s not know whether we’ll have a covered or uncovered cheek situation in the actual movie — so there’s only one way to find out. It’s in cinemas this Thursday.
