SHIA LaBeouf is not so shy, after all.
The actor, who has been under fire over claims he plagiarised the work of artist Daniel Clowes, has revealed he sent photos of his penis to the producers of Nymphomaniac in order to secure his role in the film.
LaBeouf, 27, admitted that the initial request caused his agents to panic about the upcoming Lars von Trier drama.
"The first info we got - and I'll never forget this because my entire team reacted with such a fear - the first request on the production end, not from Lars, was pictures of my penis," he revealed in an interview with von Trier's Zentropa Productions.
The Transformers star explained that the penis photo was a test to see how committed he was to the project.
"Lars goes, 'Send him the [offer] letter. The letter was, 'Are you game?'" LaBeouf recalled. "I guess the first test was, 'Let's time how long it takes this motherf***er to send his d*ck over the internet.' It was like 20 minutes. They were like, 'All right, kid's ready.'"
Nymphomaniac is a two-part drama film which features real sex between porn stars digitally transferred onto the bodies of the film's cast.
Shia plays Jerome, a sex-crazed office manager, and appears in 'la buff' many times.
The sexually-charged film also stars Stellan Skarsgard, Christian Slater, Jamie Bell, Uma Thurman and Willem Dafoe and is predicted to screen at Cannes Film Festival around May this year.
