MKR judge Manu Feildel says he doesn’t hold a grudge against Russian contestants Olga and Valeria, who dared to question his wisdom in tonight’s episode.
The pair quiz Feildel about the advice he is dishing up at the dinner table, with Olga telling him, “We’re getting mixed messages Manu, like I’m getting mixed messages, seriously.”
Feildel says the Russians are “pretty strong-headed women”.
“I don’t mind that,” he says. “But I’m quite stubborn myself.”
In nine seasons, Feildel can’t recall other contestants describing his advice as confusing. But Olga says it’s common sense to ask questions.
“I’m not a person who was raised to be shooshed when there is something you don’t understand or you want further explanation,” she said.
“We always listen to (the judges) and aspire to please them when we cook, because eventually they are the people who will appoint the winner ... hello! We feel that they are confusing a lot of times. They say something then contradict themselves.”
