Luncina Light has become popular with Married At First Sight Australia viewers this year, but it turns out the loveable personality has a view cheeky secrets.
The Byron Bay babe won fans over with her kooky personality and caring attitude, but it turns out Lucinda Light is actually a stage name she’s been using for half a decade.
Lucinda’s real name last name is Reilly, which she stopped using afer registering her business name back in 2019.
The popular bride, who labels herself a “master of ceremonies”, previously used her stage name while she entertained revellers as a cabaret act.
According to Yahoo, Lucinda was working last year Byron Bay burlesque establishment Secret Cabaret Society as the “Madam of the House”.
“Join our 1920s Secret Cabaret Society an immersive restaurant experience for our esteemed guests,” reads a description of the bar. “You’ll be in for the most spiffy time where the Madam of the House welcomes you into her Tavern of Love”.
A source said: “Lucinda is as quirky and positive as she comes across and great talent, but there were some whispers among the cast about her intentions [for doing MAFS] as she was there under a stage name rather than her real name”.
Around the same time, Lucinda took to LinkedIn in a bid to score some media opportunities and showcase her talents for a wider audience.
“I am looking for incredible roles as an MC or TV presenter and would appreciate your support,” she wrote on the platform.
She also worked for a company called Soulful Speed Dating between 2017 and 2022.
Meanwhile, fans have been loving Lucinda on the show this week. She walked down the aisle to meet her groom Timothy Smith on Tuesday.
Timothy had concerns, which turned out to be prescient, that his bride would be a “spiritual, energy type”.
Despite a smoking ceremony and a sacrificial chicken wing being floated about, Timothy eventually came around to his bride and the pair appeared to seriously hit it off. However, that wasn’t before their ceremony thrown into chaos for the first time in the show’s history when a wedding was forced to stop due to the weather. In the end, they finished the episode getting ready for their Port Stephens honeymoon.
