POP princess Kylie Minogue stepped out to support her good friend Domenico Dolce, just hours before the fashion icon was found guilty of tax evasion.
Minogue shrugged off her own Logies performance and backing dancer scandal, to meet up with Dolce at the Dolce & Gabbana store’s VIP soiree on Collins St on Wednesday night.
Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, and their accountant Luciano Patellito were sentenced to one year and six months of jail time after an Italian appeals court upheld the decision of a lower court.
It was reported the fashion duo would appeal, but they will not serve time in custody as their sentences are below the two-year minimum sentence requiring jail time.
Dolce had spent two weeks here on holiday, visiting Sydney and Melbourne during his first visit to Australia.

Unfazed by the unfolding events in his home country, Dolce said the brand believed in this country.
“They understand the relationship with Dolce and Gabbana and the fashion brand,’’ he told Confidential.
“I’m very comfortable here. People are very gentle and sophisticated. All the place is clean and this for me is amazing.
“Melbourne dresses up very well and if you go to Sydney they’re very sporty.”
Dolce and Minogue, dressed in a black lace D&G dress, left the soiree together in a waiting car. They were both happily mingling with guests and posing for photos. Among the crowd were Nadia Bartel, Sophie Van Den Akker, Grant Smillie, Michael Klim and Frances Abbott.
