Jackson Warne has recalled the moment he was brought to tears while talking to his dad after leaving SAS Australia.

Warne left the gruelling military style show on Tuesday night with no regrets and a life changing experience.

He said emotions came out when he spoke to his cricket legend dad, Shane Warne.

“I had the biggest cry I had in five or six years,’’ Jackson said.

“The last time I cried like that was probably when I saw one of my legos broke. Just an overwhelming of emotions, and I just don’t show any emotion.

“I had a face time call with Dad when I VW (voluntary withdrew).

“He was like, ‘oh no, don’t cry’. I told him and mum they’re not allowed to cry when they watch the episode.

“I was in such a different state of mind when I was on that course. This is the only thing that matters and when I was doing the self isolation in Jindabyne I probably had only spoken to him three times so I saw his face pop up and it all came out.”

Warne said he had been overwhelmed by the support he’s received, and he will continue trying new foods and posting them on his Instagram.

“It’s actually pretty overwhelming, I’m getting over 50 messages a day of people saying

you’re my favourite contestant, I can relate to you, or well done, don’t hand your number in, keep going, you’re the best,’’ he said.

“It might have looked like I wasn’t trying but that’s playing poker, staying calm and don’t show any pain, and people say he wasn’t putting in effort, but I was, I’m just used to hiding it.

“I wasn’t doing it to be on television, I was doing it for the training and for my self. I’m just a McDonald’s eating, lego loving, poker playing kid.”
