Australian actor Hugh Jackman returned home to Australia over the weekend where he’s been sighted multiple times soaking up the sunshine in Bondi, including several outings with one of his longtime friends.
The 56-year-old, who owns a multimillion-dollar penthouse in Sydney’s east, told locals it was “heaven” to be back after he was spotted taking a morning dip on Sunday, before later grabbing breakfast with his two children Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19.
Jackman has also been seen multiple times with Michael Ryan, the actor’s personal trainer and close friend of more than three decades.

Jackman and Ryan were seen twice on Sunday, first enjoying a casual walk at a park before having an early dinner at North Bondi’s RAW Bar.
The duo first met at a gym before the Aussie star shot to fame with his debut outing as Wolverine in the X-Men franchise in 2000.
Jackman later played the role of Ryan’s best man at his wedding to Zoe Bingley-Pullen in 2007 while he was here shooting Baz Luhrmann’s film Australia with co-star Nicole Kidman.

More recently, Ryan helped Jackman get into shape for his hotly-anticipated Wolverine return.
The Greatest Showman star joined Ryan Reynolds for the third Deadpool film, Deadpool & Wolverine, which made a staggering $US1.338 billion at the global box office after its July release.
Speaking to Today in July, Ryan revealed the process of getting Jackman into shape for the beloved role.
“Especially now he’s 55 [now 56], there’s no question as you get older, you’ve gotta be consistent,” Ryan told co-hosts Richard Wilkins and Sylvia Jeffreys.
“And diet’s a major part of that,” he continued, adding Jackman trained one hour per day for three months in the lead-up to filming.
“He’s highly disciplined. He loves the challenge. When we work together it’s ultra-competitive.
“When I train him, I train with him. So we were training in London at a local gym, which would be the equivalent to a 24/7 gym here in Sydney, and it’s quite comical to see the whole environment of people going, ‘Is that Hugh Jackman?’”
In March last year, Jackman shared on social media he was bulking up pre-production by eating an 8600-calorie daily diet.
Jackman took to Instagram at the time to show followers his pre-prepared meals, which included a 2000-calorie black bass dish, a 2100-calorie salmon dish and a 1800-calorie chicken burger.
“Bulking. A day in the life. Thank you Chef Mario for helping me stay healthy and properly fed whilst … Becoming. Wolverine. Again,” Jackman wrote.
The actor is enjoying some well-earned downtime after a busy couple of years.
It’s not yet clear if his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness, with whom he separated from in September last year, will return from overseas for Christmas.
