The hips don’t lie, but do they?
In Bec Judd’s own words shhhh “I’ll let you in on a little secret….”
By now we have all heard of the plastic fantastic chicken fillets in the bra to give an added cleavage. There are bottom lifters in-built into shapewear for that extra junk in the trunk – but hip implants?
Trust in Melbourne’s reigning style queen Bec Judd to pioneer the technique to master the much sought after hourglass silhouette.
Judd revealed her go-to red carpet designer J’Aton had sewn in “hip implants” into her stunning dusty pink shimmering showstopper for last week’s Glamour on the Grid event.
Melbourne couturists Jacob Luppino and Anthony have been working with Judd for more than 18 years, and gave her a little added assistance.
“I’ll let you in on a little secret, my dress had implants in it,” Judd giggled to her social media followers in a video as she got ready for the Melbourne Grand Prix.
“It looks like I have got hips. I usually don’t have hips, I’m straight up and down, I have the figure of a 12 year boy, no waist, no hips.
“So the J’Aton boys put hip implants in, they sewed them into the dress to give me that shape.
“I couldn’t stop feeling them all night,” she laughed.
J’Aton Couture are known for their epic creations, some appearing in the National Gallery of Victoria and their custom made designs worn by celebrities from Beyonce to homegrown stars such as Kylie Minogue and Delta Goodrem.
