‘Heartbroken’: Olivia Rogers’ beloved pooch dies suddenly

The beloved fur baby Olivia Rogers shared with her ex-husband Justin McKeone has died suddenly, leaving them “heartbroken”.

The beloved fur baby model and former Miss Universe Australia Olivia Rogers shared with her ex-husband has died suddenly.

Justin McKeone shared the devastating news in an Instagram post on Sunday, saying the former couple’s chow chow Ziggy had died “of natural causes”.

“My companion, my rock, my best mate, I’m heartbroken,” McKeone wrote.

“Rest in Peace buddy, I love you.”

Rogers confirmed she found out about Ziggy’s death via social media and didn’t know the circumstances surrounding the pup’s death.

“I am heartbroken to hear about darling Ziggy,” she said.

“Thank you for all your lovely messages.

“Rest in peace beautiful boy. I miss you everyday.”

Ms Rogers went on to ask for the public to “refrain from asking questions”.

Ziggy became the subject of a custody battle when McKeone took the pooch to live with him amid the couple’s split in October 2022 after four and a half years together.

At the time, Rogers said she was “devastated” she no longer had Ziggy full-time.

“I miss Zig so much,” she said.

“I would have loved to share him (with McKeone) but we couldn’t come to an agreement on that unfortunately.”

In January last year, Rogers posted pictures of herself taking Ziggy for a walk after she was reunited with her pooch.

“Look who I get to spend the day with, reunited after four months,” she wrote.

“My heart can’t cope, I think he likes it here.”
