From reality star to WAG, former Love Island winnerTayla Damirhas moved to Melbourne to be with her partner, Richmond premiership player Nathan Broad.
But she has no idea when she will be able to go to a game to see Broad in action because of the COVID-19 restriction on AFL crowds.
“Hopefully one day I will get to go and watch him,” Damir said.
“I have moved here because Nathan is here and it is just easier than commuting back and forth from Sydney. Also, a lot of my work is here.”
The AFL’s COVID restrictions on player’s off-field movements meant Damir’s first night in her new home town was subdued.
“Let’s just say we did not go out for a celebration dinner. We stayed in and made a stir-fry,” she said.
“Once the season ends we can go out for dinner. I am looking forward to getting to explore Melbourne more.”
Damir recently revealed she had suffered Bell’s palsy, a type of paralysis that affects one side of the face.
“About four years ago I experienced Bell’s palsy; it was probably caused by stress at the time,” she said.
“I woke up one day and one side of my face was a lot more dropped than the other and the nerves weren’t quite working as they were the day before.
“My doctor said it should correct itself, but the fact that my mouth never quite went back to normal and one side of my face was a bit more sloped than the other used to make me a bit self-conscious.”
