The reason behind Chris Judd’s airport outburst
A recent family holiday quickly went awry for the Judd family, prompting an uncharacteristic meltdown from AFL legend Chris at the airport.

Chris Judd has described his angry dad reaction of blowing his top at the baggage services counter at Melbourne Airport as undignified and something he “could have handled better”.
The normally cool and calm footy identity snapped after his daughter, Billie, 5, was prevented from boarding a flight because of a wet passport and then the wrong bags were off-loaded from the plane.
The Judd family was heading to Queenstown to launch the new Jaggad range earlier this month when their travel plans went awry.
“The lady checking us in said ‘there is an issue with this passport, it is wet. I am not sure if customs is going to accept it’,” Judd told Triple M.
“I did not think too much of it. Bec and the three boys went through to the lounge and I stayed with Billie waiting for the passport to come back and get the all clear.
“About 15 minutes went by and a service man came in and said I have good news and bad news.
“The good news is the family are right to go to Queenstown, the bad news is you and your daughter aren’t.
“The passport has not been cleared by customs.”
Judd politely asked that when his bags were off-loaded that the handlers be careful not to confuse his luggage with Bec’s which contained Jaggad apparel for a launch event.
The wrong ones were taken off the flight.
“I very rarely lose my temper,” he said on the Hot Breakfast show.
“(But) my eyes have absolutely rolled into the back of the head.
“My daughter starts bawling because Dad has gone absolutely bunta at the airport, so it was undignified and I could have handled it a little bit better.”
