Kyrgios delivers message to his girlfriend after cryptic ‘cheater’ post

Tennis ace Nick Kyrgios is understood to be interested in a TV career.

The gifted sportsman has done the occasional guest commentary during his colourful tennis career and he has capitalised on his personality and relaxed view of life in recent ad campaigns.

But a surprise move into reality style TV could signal a future pathway for the man with the racquet.

Kyrgios is understood to have filmed several episodes of the extreme sports show Ninja Warrior not as a competitor but as a sideline host calling the action and interviewing contestants with Shane Crawford.

His participation in the show, which was filmed in Sydney last month, was a closely guarded secret but word is he aced it.

There is little doubt TV bosses from all networks will take note of Kyrgios’s burgeoning interest in life in front of the camera off court.

He is a compelling character at a time when personality in sport and in the emerging ranks of celebrity is in short supply.

Kyrgios is dating his ‘on-again, off-again’ girlfriend Chiara Passari.
