Cricket great Shane Warne says he is relieved homeschooling is over as the Year 12 curriculum set for his daughter was “over my head.”

Warne’s youngest daughter, Summer, is completing Year 12 and was studying from home during the COVID-19 shutdown of schools.

“She was so happy to go back to school because it is not easy learning through homeschooling all the time and us as parents, a lot of us are not the smartest tools in the shed,” Warne said.

“We know some of the basics and we can help out in some parts, but somethings are over my head.”

With his daughter Brooke now 23, his son Jackson, 21 and Summer turning 19 this year, Warne said he was very aware his kids were now adults. “You know what this means, what it means is I am getting old,” Warne said, before adding “I am like a fine wine. I am getting better with age.”

Warne launched the new hair loss advice website hairloss.com.au for Advanced Hair Studio on Friday.
