Olympian Scotty James tipped for star-studded Grand Prix buck’s bash

Olympic snowboarder Scotty James will say goodbye to single life surrounded by celebrity friends and F1 drivers at a party at one of Melbourne’s hottest bars.

A Grand Prix carnival in his hometown has created the perfect opportunity for Australian Winter Olympian Scotty James to gather friends and family from around the world for his bucks party.

James’s fiance Chloe Stroll, the daughter of Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll and the sister of F1 driver Lance Stroll, threw her bachie bash at Bagatelle in the French Alps earlier this month, which resulted in a wave of social media posts showing the heiress and aspiring singer kicking up her heels, dancing on tables and guests urges to “Let’s have a blast b-tches.”

The Alps were an appropriate location for someone about to marry a snow sport world champion.

James is looking to hold his bucks party closer to home.

Word is Melbourne’s hugely popular celebrity haunt Bar Bambi, run by Nick and Daniel Russian, is the location for Olympian’s farewell to single life next weekend.

The timing is perfect, with James in town to support his soon to be brother-in-law at the Australian Grand Prix.

A family affair, his fiance will also be in Melbourne to support her brother.

Lance Stroll drives for the Aston Martin F1 team which is owned by his impossibly wealthy father.

The party plan would also mean James could share his bucks bash with his hometown mates as well as the connections he has made in the F1 community.

Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac would be a strong tip to be among the guests.

His partner is James’s sister Rebecca. The couple have an eight-month-old daughter, Margot.

Chloe and James were introduced by Chloe’s brother, who James was friends with, in 2019.

“Lance actually called me and said, ‘I think I just found the guy you’re going to marry’,” Chloe said in an interview in late 2021.

“Scotty was very cute. We dated for about four months, or as he likes to say, we got to know each other, before he officially asked me to be his girlfriend.”

James popped the question during a holiday in Switzerland in November 2021.

With the hen’s party done and the bucks party soon to be ticked off, the next move would presumably be a trip down the aisle for the jetsetting couple.
