Megan Gale has broken her silence following the death of her brother, Jason.
Gale reflected on the importance of family and her gratitude for simple joys in a now deleted poignant comment posted on the social media site of her infant skincare range, Mindful Life.
“To feel sunshine on my face. To take in full, deep breaths of fresh air. To hold my daughter’s hand in mine. Recent times have taught me that these simple little things are truly some of life’s greatest joys and privileges,” with the comment attributed as words of gratitude from our founder Megan Gale.
Gale has been privately grieving the passing of her brother, Jason, who was found dead in bushland near Perth on July 21 in non-suspicious circumstances.
She attended his funeral in Western Australia last week, after completing the quarantine requirements, before returning to her partner, Shaun Hampson and their children, River and Rosie, in Melbourne.
Hampson said in a recent interview that the family was dealing with the loss privately.
“That happening at any time isn’t a great feeling but at a time like this, but you know the family has dealt with it in their own way and so now it’s about moving on,” Hampson said.
