Dubbed ‘the mystery multimillion-dollar superyacht’ when it moored off Brighton beach in March, floating palace the Lady E has bobbed up back in Melbourne.
To be fair, the 74.5m, six bedroom luxury boat, hardly snuck into Melbourne’s bayside area.
It stands out like a sore thumb on the bay, such is its size compared to other pleasure crafts in Port Phillip.
Brighton Grammar old boy David Russell is believed to be the owner of flash tinnie and his family was spotted enjoying life on the waves on the vessel earlier this year.
His daughter Imogen even announced her engagement to socialite and pharmacist Shadi Kazeme on the boat in April.
The Lady E has been chugging along the Australian east coast over the past months, making its way to Darwin before heading back down the coast to Melbourne.
Russell, in his Brighton Grammar Hall of Fame biography, is noted as Chairman of the Che Sara Sara Foundation, which supports children in crisis in Russia, Uzbekistan and the Philippines.
Interestingly, a smaller boat named the Che Sara Sara has been anchored near the Lady E while it has been bobbing around off Brighton.
