Melbourne rocker Jed McIntosh has found love on Channel 10’s revamped dating show The Bachelors – with himself.
“Did I find love on the show? So far I have definitely found love for myself and now we will see if I can bring somebody else into that equation,” the drummer revealed.
Meanwhile the show’s villain Natasha ‘Tash’ Zuanetti returns to the Gold Coast Bachie pad on Sunday to try and win back McIntosh’s affection after storming off the show in a petulant huff days ago.
“Tash has decided to come back because she was not happy with how much airtime she got,” McIntosh quipped.
“She is definitely an interesting character.”
McIntosh said he had picked up on the toxic drama that followed the Melbourne real estate worker and it was a turn off.
“I like to have a bit of fun, but I think the moment you are going to drag other people down to bring yourself up, I don’t think that is good and I am not really the biggest fan of it,” he said.
“We will have to see if she can redeem herself with a change of behaviour. I am noticing the toxicness around her.”
McIntosh, 26, has been a welcome relief from the usual buff, clean cut men cast as The Bachelor.
He is tattooed, wears eyeliner, paints his nails, cries on camera, and has a distinctive and edgy sense of style.
“I have kids coming up to me on the street who are dressed a bit alternatively and they have told me they feel a bit more comfortable after seeing someone like myself on the show, so to give me an opportunity to find not only a possible wife, but to actually influence kids that may be going through a hard time like I went through, that has been amazing,” he said.
