Tennis star Amanda Anisimova in love match with Tyler Roos

A Melbourne footballer and model with reality TV links was approached by The Bachelor, but has since found love with a rising tennis star.

Tyler Roos is dating Amanda Anisimova.

One of the rising stars of women’s tennis has fallen for a Melbourne footballer and model with reality TV links.

American Amanda Anisimova, who is ranked 30 in the women’s tennis rankings, is dating Tyler Roos, the son of former player, Grand Final winning coach and media commentator, Paul Roos.

The pair has taken their relationship “insta-official” posting photos of their travels on social media.

Roos, who played footy with the Southport Sharks, dabbled in reality TV in 2019 when he took part in Channel 10’s Amazing Race Australia.

The 24-year-old was later tentatively sounded out by Ten as to whether he would be interested in being The Bachelor.

Roos is also a part-time model with Brazen Models in Melbourne.

He and Anisimova are currently in Miami and no doubt the Australian Open is firmly in Anisimova’s sights.

She was bundled out in the first round of the singles draw at the grand slam tournament this year and then teamed with Nick Kyrgios in the mixed doubles competition.

The talented 19-year-old has been tipped as one of the future stars of women’s tennis.

Anisimov suffered a devastating personal loss when her father and long-time coach, Konstantin Anisimov, suffered a heart attack and died just before the 2019 US Open.
