The Grand Finale episode of The Masked Singer will be filmed in Melbourne this week, possibly as early as Monday.

Channel 10 has not confirmed a restart date yet for the show, which was shut down on Saturday, August 22 after a COVID-19 cluster was discovered, however with quarantine ending this weekend for the majority of the cast and crew including Dannii Minogue and Dave Hughes, it is expected the network will waste little time getting the finale done and dusted.

Any filming will be done in accordance with government regulations.

The clock is ticking for the show with the Grand Finale confirmed as airing on 10 next Monday (September 14).

Three still to be revealed celebrities will perform on the final episode, with the production number featuring the full cast of costumed stars already recorded some weeks ago.

The show shut down last month less than two hour before the finale was to start filming.
