During the last week of filming, before end of season celebrations, it is understood the show’s five contestant teams got tattoos as a permanent reminder of their shared epic experience.

Some of The Block production team also got inked, with the show’s creator and boss Julian Cress thought to have been among those now sporting a Block ink spot.

A rumour that one of the contestants got a tattoo of Scott Cam’s face inked on a part of their body proved to be untrue.

Meanwhile, one of the contestants has been revealed as having close links to a Gold Logie winner.

Eliza Paschke, who is taking on the renovation challenge with her sister Liberty, is no novice when it comes to the game of celebrity.

She was part of leviathan duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee’s radio production team.

Blake has two Gold Logies to his name and is nominated again this year for TV’s top award.

The Logies will be held in Sydney on July 30.
