Former Geelong footy great Billy Brownless turned fashionista during the recent Melbourne Cup Carnival, showing some unexpected sartorial flair thanks to his new partner and an upcoming wedding.
Brownless put his stylish new streamlined look down to two things: he is shredding for his daughter Ruby’s March wedding and his new girlfriend Crystle Kenneally, who goes by the name of Crystle Fleur on social media.
Brownless and Crystle met at a Geelong Football Club game and have been dating for the past four and a half months.
“Everything is going beautifully,” Brownless said.
“We met at the footy, she is a Geelong supporter. We met at the footy so that was nice. She is a horsey girl, she breeds them and foals them and it is foaling season right now so she has been busy at night.”
The pair are both interested in racing and footy. Crystle, a mum of three, has a long association with the thoroughbred breeding industry and regularly shares updates of herself with recently born foals from Erinvale Thoroughbreds on her social media.
Brownless has had a smashing 2024. He was runner up on The Amazing Race Australia with his son Oscar and goes from strength to strength with his Rush Hour radio show with James Brayshaw on Triple M. In the most recent radio survey released on Thursday the show had a 9.1 per cent audience share.
The drive show will be heard across Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, and Triple M’s regional stations in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia in 2025.
