The ex-fiance of Melbourne’s ‘Mr Lambo’ Adrian Portelli was the victim of opportunistic thieves who made off with her luxury prestige car while she was filming The Bachelors.
Anastasia Iliopoulos, who split with the big spending, cash flashing Portelli last year, is understood to have had her luxury Porsche SUV stolen while she was ensconced in the Bachelor mansion in Brighton earlier this year.
The pricey vehicle was allegedly pinched sometime around July 27 and was reported as missing several weeks later once Iliopoulos emerged from the show’s Melbourne compound.
Victoria police recovered the car in Richmond in early September and it was returned to Iliopoulos soon after.
However, it is believed over $5000 in fines were accrued while the vehicle was crisscrossing Melbourne unbeknown to Iliopoulos while she was off the radar filming the Channel 10 show.
Channel 10 is yet to confirm the identity of any of the women taking part in the show this year.
Iliopoulos has thanked police for finding the vehicle.
“She’s back!!!!!,” she posted.
“Criminals. I don’t mean to sound condescending, but if you swipe a car and someone’s identity, maybe switch out the licence plates?
“On a serious note, take my car, take my identity, but my iphone cord? Nuhhh.”
The Bachelors, with three blokes looking for love in Melbourne, is expected to be an end of year treat for romance seekers on 10.
