Delta Goodrem spotted in Brisbane and fuels rumours of a potential move
An Australian musician has been spotted soaking up Brisbane’s summer buzz, sparking rumours of a potential move.
Australian musician Delta Goodrem has been spotted soaking up Brisbane’s summer buzz, making a low-key appearance at James St hotspot Cru Bar after performing at a private work Christmas party on Saturday night.
Goodrem arrived at the venue with her husband, Matthew Copley, settling in for a late dinner and happily chatting with fans who recognised her.
Among them was local Maddy Vandenham, who told The Courier-Mail the star could not have been more gracious.
“She was lovely and sweet,” Vandenham said, adding that Goodrem spoke warmly about how much she adored Brisbane and the popular James St venue.
Other diners shared a candid photo of the pair enjoying their night, describing the singer as “relaxed” and “glowing” after her performance.
But it was a second sighting that drew particular interest.
A source told The Courier-Mail that Goodrem and Copley were also seen meeting with Luxe Listings Sydney host Simon Cohen, whose buyers agency, Cohen Handler, now operates a Brisbane office.
Given Goodrem’s appearance in season three of Luxe Listings Sydney, the meeting has sparked speculation that the couple may be eyeing off a family home in the city.
