Danny Hayes makes surprise return to the screen in Big Brother VIP

Geelong real estate agent Danny Hayes has emerged as a surprise addition to the ranks of Big Brother VIP after claiming he would never do another reality show.

A self-described “Million Dollar Bogan” from Geelong has emerged as a surprise addition to the ranks of Big Brother VIP after claiming he would never do another reality show.

Danny Hayes, the brash Cat Town real estate agent who was branded the most controversial gameplayer in the non-celebrity Big Brother series which aired earlier this year on Channel 7, has scored a spot among the higher profile housemates on the VIP version of the show.

Hayes joins headliners Caitlyn Jenner and Thomas Markle Jnr in the Big Brother compound which has been built as a hotel this season.

Hayes found fame keeping it real on Big Brother in May.

“I’ve got faults, I cracked the s — ts, I swore, I went head-to-head and I ate with my mouth open … and I think my testicles are on TV as well. And I made mistakes, but guess what? I’m a f — king human being,” he said of his first Big Brother experience.

And in famous last words he swore off finding further TV fame.

“I probably won’t do any more TV. I’m not after any fame, like what other people are,” he said earlier this year.

“So I think, you know, it’s my one and only shot at reality TV. I’ve enjoyed it. I loved every second.”

Hayes other housemates include former White House advisor for Donald Trump, Omarosa Manigault Newman, Married At First Sight favourite Jessika Power, Kyle Sandilands’ ex-girlfriend Imogen Anthony, former Collingwood star Dayne Beams, Ex-NRL player Matt Cooper, actor Bernard Curry, model and influencer Ellie Gonsalves, model Josh Carroll, and Australian Survivor winner Luke Toki.

Inflammatory UK commentator Katie Hopkins was dumped from the show last month after her visa was cancelled.

Her spot in the show has not been recast with the series going ahead with one less loud mouth.

7 is gambling that the cast will attract viewers and it is an expensive gamble. Jenner alone, whose daughters are Kylie and Kendall Jenner and stepdaughters include Kim Kardashian-West, is rumoured to have picked up a cool million dollars to be part of the show.
