NICK Russian and his brother Daniel will open a new venue by next year’s Spring Racing Carnival, after their celebrity haunt Eve nightclub closed in February.

Nick Russian, pictured with wife Rozalia who is due to give birth in February, said the break from running a venue has reignited the brother’s passion for the industry.

“We really needed the break to get the passion back again,” he said.

“We needed some time to rejuvenate to go all over again.

“We have got the passion up at a real high.

“Everyone has been asking us flat out, what we are doing next?’

It’s been a big year for the family, Rozalia’s online fashion business is going from strength to strength.

Russian, and a group business partners including Lee Elliott, Darren Male and Julian Gerner, are once again running the Together New Year’s Eve at Crica.

They also plan to run another event at the St Kilda Festival at the Sea Baths on Sunday February 12.
