Victoria’s Secret angel Jasmine Tookes went from stumbling upon Sydney label P.E Nation on Instagram to featuring in its latest collection. The US supermodel is the new face of the athletic apparel company, founded by Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning.

Tookes said she loved the aesthetic of the label and the whole “athleisure” trend that has swept the world.

“I first saw P.E Nation on Instagram and really loved the whole aesthetic,” she told Confidential.

“I immediately thought this was something that was going to stay, because I feel I’ve always incorporated athleisure into my daily on-the-go style. It’s comfy and you are also always ready for any gym class.”

Tookes has been a Victoria’s Secret model since 2016 and has walked the runway for the world’s biggest brands, including Burberry, Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, Giorgio Armani and many more. She says to keep fit she keeps it simple.

“Having a balanced diet and maintaining some sort of activity at least three times a week, whether it’s the gym or just going for a walk,” she said.

Edwards said Tookes was chosen for the campaign because the collection, a mix of staples and eclectic pieces embodies Tookes’ style.

“Jasmine’s elevated street style and on-the-go lifestyle make her a perfect face for this bold and busy collection, created for the girl that gets up early and stays up late, dipping from hardcore active to high fashion active-street,” she said.

P.E Nation has skyrocketed to become one of Australia’s most successful fashion labels, being seen worn by dozens of A-list celebrities including Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Margot Robbie, J essica Alba, Rita Ora, Kourtney Kardashian, Sofia Richie and Hailey Baldwin.
