Sharon Johal is set to stay at Channel 9 after exploring further options with the network.

Despite being vocal about copping a villain edit on The Block, the former Neighbours actor is in talks about future plans.

“They can see the value I bought to the show, and the ratings, and people were interested in our journey,” Johal said.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if something with Channel 9 comes out of this. Ankur wouldn’t be on another reality show but in the lifestyle space there are so many brands that have reached out to me because I’m in line with them in authenticity and we took some risks and that reliability is something that will continue on with this.”

Johal and husband Ankur Dogra, stepped out at the 2022 L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in science Awards at Southbank on Thursday. They are heading to Sydney on a holiday now ahead of reuniting with family in Adelaide.

“The only thing we’re dying for is a holiday,” Johal said. “We want to spend time with our family on the farm.”

After passing their home in at auction the couple sold for $4.25m to millionaire Adrian Portelli who controversially bid on the house of big winners Omar and Oz. It gave them a profit of $170,000 with Portelli also keen to buy the car they won during the series.
