A new series of The Real Housewives of Melbourne will go ahead with a shake up of the cast.
Foxtel has announced that its most talked about reality series has been commissioned for a fifth season.
“The Real Housewives of Melbourne took Australia by storm, changing our television landscape like never before and we are delighted to bring it back for Foxtel viewers,’’ said Brian Walsh, Foxtel Executive Director of Television.
“We are continually blown away with the passionate way audiences consume this captivating series that has made household names out of Melbourne’s now infamous Housewives.”
The show first launched in 2014 and will be seeking new and old faces for the new cast.

The housewives profiled in the fourth season were original cast members Gina Liano, Jackie Gillies, Janet Roach, Lydia Schiavello, and latecomers Gamble Breaux, Venus Behbahani-Clark and Sally Bloomfield.
It will screen on Foxtel’s Arena in 2020.
