MELBOURNE co-captain Nathan Jones and wife Jerri have welcomed a baby girl, Bobbi Grace Jones, saying it was ‘the greatest day of my life’.

MELBOURNE co-captain Nathan Jones and wife Jerri have welcomed a baby girl, Bobbi Grace Jones.

Jones posted a picture of his first child, born yesterday morning (Monday), weighing 7.28 pounds.

“The greatest day of my life. I’ve got two angels,’’ he wrote on social media.

“Welcome to the world little Bobbi Grace Jones. Couldn’t be prouder of my girls.”

Yesterday he also wrote: “Mum was amazing. We are all just resting now and getting to know each other.”

Jones said earlier this year that he would not miss the birth if it clashed with a game.

“I’ll definitely be at the birth,’’ he said.
