Tania Buckley has stepped out publicly for the first time since her high profile marriage split from Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley.

Tania Buckley has stepped out publicly for the first time since her high profile marriage split from Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley was revealed.

On the night the Magpies played their first match for the 2021 season at the MCG, Buckley was supporting her close friend, top Melbourne designer Jason Grech who was showcasing in the Melbourne Fashion Festival finale in Port Melbourne.

“I’m here supporting my friend,” a proud Buckley said.

Accompanied by a close girlfriend, Buckley looked slim and tanned in a stunning black top and white pants.

The Buckleys have two sons, Jett and Ayce, with the couple announcing their split in December last year.

Recently Buckley was snapped with Grech and her long-time friend, PR guru Leilani Abels, as they liaised on Abels’ wedding dress.

Both Tania and Nathan are moving on and making their children the Number 1 priority.

When they announced their 18-year marriage was over, they released a joint statement.

“It has been a tough and challenging year for every family and for ours included,” it said.

“It is with the utmost love and respect for each other and a true commitment to our sons, that we have made a decision to separate in January (2020).

“We remain dedicated parents and in the interests of our boys, we ask for our family to be given the privacy that is needed.

“We thank everyone in advance for understanding our request and for the unconditional love and support we have received throughout our marriage.”

Other guests on Friday night at the runway by creative director and celebrity stylist Lana Wilkinson included MasterChef judge Melissa Leong, Melbourne Cup winning jockey Michelle Payne, Neighbours star Sharon Johal and TV star and influencer Lorinska Merrington.
