Shane Crawford says being in isolation with his four sons has helped strengthen their bond.
The former Hawks champion admits it has been a testing time at home but he feels like a better dad.
“That’s always my goal is to be the best dad I can be,’’ Crawford said.
“My focus has been on the individual time and making sure I can do something one-on-one. “Having four kids it becomes a very long day. But it’s amazing the connection and the bond that you have when you do have that time.
“The kids are still talking to me and we still have some fun.”
Crawford is offering fitness and footy tips over the next month for BIG W’s new entertainment hub to assist parents.
Called BIG Days at Home, it also features The Wiggles and Michelle Bridges as new data reveals that 46 per cent of parents need help entertaining their children.
Crawford’s son Ben, 11, is a talented gymnast and they often workout together.
“I won’t be singing and dancing because that’s not me anymore, I’m too old,’’ Crawford, 45, said.
“Ben is a good little gymnast. He has a go at everything and I love his attitude.”
