Former Bachelor and Bachelorette star Frost has created the website with her sister, Kristine Ross.

“There have been a lot of mental health issues within our family, stuff we have struggled with ourselves,” she said.

“A lot of people have reached out to me because I have been publicly open about my struggles. I wanted to create a platform where people can share stories to feel like they are not alone, to have a sense of community.

“In mental health, there is a not a lot of things out there where people can feel safe and trusted.”

Frost, who turned 30 last month, has in the past spoken of her battles with anxiety and linked societies obsession with social media to her difficulties.

“Social media can be a really lonely place,” she said.

“People are constantly comparing their lives to unrealistic realities. For young women growing up, I can’t even imagine what it would be like going through high school with Instagram. I am so glad I missed that.

“I cannot imagine the pressure that puts on kids in schoolyards so I think there really is an audience that can benefit from something like Believe.”

The site is live now and features stories of other women who have struggled with mental health — how they struggled, how they were feeling and what their turning point was.

“This year I have decided enough is enough and to turn my world around and face my fears,” one woman’s story reads.

Women are welcomed to submit their own stories through the platform either with a first name or anonymously.
