The next generation of the Walker family is ready to make its mark.
Stylish sisters Stella and Audrey, the granddaughters of late former Grand Prix supremo and Melbourne lord mayor Ron Walker, have taken their first steps towards a career in modelling.
Stella, 23, and Audrey, 19, have signed with leading modelling agency The Talent Büro.
“We’re both very excited to branch into something new and work with innovative and creative people in the industry,’’ the sisters said.
“Growing up and both being tall, we’ve always been asked if modelling was something we would be interested in but as teenagers we wanted to focus on our studies and sports like netball, rowing and beach volleyball. Now that we are in university we have the time to dedicate to modelling and put in 100 per cent of ourselves.”
Stella and Audrey’s older brother Harry, has had great success in Europe racing in GT4 in the European Ultimate Cup.
He is currently competing in the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia after making his debut last weekend.
Ron Walker, who passed away in 2018, played a pivotal role in luring the Grand Prix to Melbourne in 1996 and remained one of the public faces of the event.
The successful businessman was also a co-founder of Melbourne’s Crown Casino.
Audrey added: “Growing up in the age of social media I’ve always enjoyed being in front of a camera, posting on TikTok and Instagram. My goal is to get into the commercial space and there are so many Australian brands I’d love to work with.”
Stella said: “The Talent Büro can open up a wide range of opportunities for me in Australia and in the international market and my goal is to eventually travel and work overseas, doing runway, editorial and commercial work.”
