Olivia Rogers has hosed down speculation she’s been secretly dating a fellow model.
The former Miss Universe Australia was linked to Morgan Waterhouse by gossip Instagram page Influencer Updates, showing them posting the same picture of the view from Rogers’ apartment on Thursday morning.
The site also suggested the pair had been at Mornington Peninsula hotspot Jackalope at the same time over her birthday last week.
Rogers said she met Waterhouse through her best friend, stylist Paul Versace.
“I’ve known Morgan for a while through Paul, we’ve been running together and I helped him shoot some content today,’’ Rogers said.
She stepped out to see Versace on Thursday at his Styled By Bloom styling suite for Novo Shoes’ new AW collection.
Recently they were holidaying in Paris over Fashion Week as she continues living her best single life.
In October last year she confirmed her split from husband Justin McKeone after eight months.
Rogers said last month that her marriage to McKeone was a mistake and that the reason they broke up was he made her “miserable”.
“There’s something to say about thinking marriage is going to be a solution,” she told hosts of the Life Uncut podcast, former Bachelor contestants Laura Byrne and Brittany Hockley.
She also said she realised the thought of falling pregnant with him “terrified” her despite undergoing fertility treatments for the last 10-months.
“I thought all of these issues we had, he’s made this commitment to me and he’s going to make this commitment to me on that day, so surely … things will improve,’’ she said.
“Whatever you hope is going to change once you say I do, when it doesn’t, you’re like oh okay, it was just a big day, it was not this momentous thing that was going to suddenly heal everything.”
McKeone hit back saying there is more than one side to a story.
“My nearest and dearest know my side and that’s all that matters to me,’’ he posted on Instagram. “That’s all you’ll ever (hear) from me. Thank you for all the messages of support — I can honestly say l’ve never been happier.”
