Nikki Ferris joins ex Bachelor and MAFS contestants in new dating show

Former Bachelor hopeful Nikki Ferris is giving love one last shot in a new dating show with a twist, with MAFS chating groom Dan Webb and The Bachelorette’s former stripper Paddy Colliar

Bachelor and Survivor stars reveal their horror dating stories

MARRIED at First Sight’s cheating groom Dan Webb and The Bachelorette’s former stripper Paddy Colliar are among ex-reality TV contestants set to have one last crack at finding love on a new show.

Webb and Colliar will join The Bachelor’s Nikki Ferris on Going Live For Love and she told Confidential that the show is a last resort.

“I’ve tried Bumble and Tinder, the amount of nut jobs on there... I’ve had some horror dates,” Ferris said.

“One guy asked me to go home with him on the first date and when I said ‘no’, he broke down in tears over his ex-girlfriend so I spent an hour consoling him in a cafe.

“This is definitely a last resort for me.”

Going Live For Love has teamed up with Deliveroo to bring five singles together as they each date 6-8 strangers online with hopes of finding true love.

The show will air this month on YouTube, around the same time as Bachelor In Paradise.

“The show is similar in the sense that they’re meeting people to find love but it’s live so there’s no editing,” creator and Bachelor alum Belinda Love said.

“Basically I want people to get the authenticity of it and see who these people truly are, not just the edited version.

“Having been on reality TV I wanted to spice it up a little. There are people who go on for fame but I’m finding that because this platform is not as big as say The Bachelor, people applying are a bit more genuine.”

Former MAFS star Ashley Airvin and Bachelor star Nina Rolleston will also appear on Love’s show.

Webb made headlines last year after his shock “affair” scandal with fellow MAFS contestant Jessika Power.

The pair ditched their partners on the show after forming a secret relationship but the romance was short-lived and they eventually parted ways.

Ferris’ return to the spotlight comes after she was viciously trolled during Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor.

“I had this one lady write a whole paragraph about how ugly she thought I was after The Bachelor. People said I look like a horse,” Ferris said.

“Life is too short and at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what someone at home thinks about me, all that matters is that I’ve made a difference in the world.”

When asked whether she’s going on Love’s show for the right reasons, Ferris said she has the right intentions.

“I’m not looking for fame. I’ve already secured my Z-grade celebrity status. You know you’ve made it when you’re considered the Queen of Blacktown,” she laughed.
