Whether you want a rocking party, glam vibes, a culinary journey or a trendy pub vibe for New Year’s Eve, there are plenty of hotspots around Melbourne to ring in 2025.
At bustling Bar Bambi in the city, you can join the ultimate night out for as little as $55 per person.
The Prince Hotel in St Kilda is also offering affordable tickets with a set of top DJs, including Andy Murphy.
“I’m super excited to ring in 2025 at The Prince Deck,’’ Murphy said.
“Expect a set full of classics, this year’s biggest hits, and some of my favourite DJs.”
At South Yarra restaurant and bar Yugen, Patricia Valeri and Elle Baillieu, who co-host Paddock43 F1 podcast, will be clinking their glasses at midnight.
“Yugen is a phenomenal space, some of the best Japanese food that makes you feel like you could be anywhere in the world,’’ Baillieu said.
“We are so lucky to have so many amazing venues in Melbourne.
“People still love to celebrate, whether it’s a small celebration with friends and family or even a quiet dinner. Personally, I love to spend new year’s with my best friends and my fiance, Tom, and toast to a great year. It’s a great chance to reflect and plan for what’s ahead.”
New Crown venue Marmont will be a hive of activity with owner Grant Smillie to hit the DJ decks there and he’s also in the line-up at his old stomping ground, The Prince.

The South Yarra venue’s Descend: Yūgen NYE ‘24 party promises signature drinks, modern Asian-inspired canapés, DJ DNE, dancers and a live saxophonist to the keep the vibe going.

Dine, drink, dance at Marmont’s first New Year’s Eve celebration. Palm Springs NYE on The Prince Hotel rooftop will bring the party vibes. Sundream Events is teaming up with Supergood and Red Heart to bring the top DJs including Grant Smillie and Andy Murphy plus Clueless and Thomas Nico, with a bit of Hollywood coming to St Kilda. St Kilda Sea Baths
The Better In Colour New Year’s Eve party will be held across all four St Kilda Sea Baths venues: Captain Baxter, Sea Baths Rooftop, Republica and Encore. The party kicks off with two hours of free drinks and gourmet canapés from 4-6pm along with early rooftop access. More than 30 DJs will play tunes from 4pm with the local line-up keeping the party alive until 1am. Tickets are from $145 (second release) for general admission and rooftop booths range from $3000 for 10 people and up to $5000 which includes two hours of free drinks and canapes from 4-6pm.
